Relook works without an account. This page explains what the app and our server handle, who helps us process it, and how long it stays. The operator is Artur Rossi, an individual based in Brazil. See also our Terms of use.
When you share a post or a photo of an outfit, the app sends the image to our server, a Cloudflare Worker. The server uses AI models, reached through OpenRouter (Google Gemini), to identify each garment and to render a catalog-style picture of it. The results come back to your phone. Your closet, looks and wishlist are stored only on your phone.
| Data | Why | Where it goes | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Look photos you share | To identify and render the pieces | Our server, then OpenRouter and Google Gemini (US) | Analysis and renders cached up to 30 days |
| Closet item photos | To match pieces against your closet | Our server, then OpenRouter and Google Gemini (US) | Cached up to 30 days, keyed by a hash of the image |
| Piece picture and short text description | To find similar items in stores | Serper (Google search results, US) and our own product index | Results cached for 7 days, keyed by the picture and query, so the same search is not repeated |
| Random install ID made on your phone | Daily usage caps, abuse control and bans | Our server (Cloudflare KV) | Usage counters 48 hours, moderation strikes and bans 30 days |
| Anonymous RevenueCat app user ID | To check whether Relook Pro is active | Our server and RevenueCat | Subscription status cached up to 10 minutes |
| Purchase receipt | To process your subscription | Apple and RevenueCat. We never see payment details. | Per Apple and RevenueCat policies |
| Anonymous usage events | To count which features are used | PostHog | Per PostHog settings, no identity attached |
Renders are shared across people who upload the identical image, because the cache is keyed by a hash of the image. The hash is not linked to you.
The AI models flag explicit or sexualized images and images involving minors. Those images are refused and not stored. After three refusals, the device is banned from using the analysis for 30 days. The ban is tied to the install ID, not to you.
Store links open in your browser, and the store's own privacy policy applies from there. Relook may use affiliate links in the future, which means a store could pay us a commission if you buy. It would not change what you pay.
Some of these providers are in the United States, so your images and requests can be processed outside Brazil and outside your country.
Server caches expire automatically, on the schedule in the table above. Everything on your phone (looks, closet, wishlist) stays on the device and in the iOS app group, and deleting the app removes it.
If you want something removed from our side sooner, email us. Because we hold no identity, we cannot look you up by name. Tell us roughly when you used the app and we will remove what we can match to that time.
Under Brazil's LGPD, and under the GDPR for people in the EU, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Write to hello@relook.style. Since we hold no identity, we may need a few details, such as roughly when you used the app, to find anything. You can also complain to your data protection authority, in Brazil the ANPD.
We process data to provide the service you ask for, to keep it secure and prevent abuse, and, for analytics, based on our legitimate interest in improving the app.
Relook is not for children under 13. The App Store rates it 4+, but it is aimed at adults. If you believe a child has used it, contact us and we will remove what we can.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and for material changes we will say so in the app or on this page.
